Coldplay is doing some cool things? I don't really tend to pay attention to Coldplay all that much since they are everyones favorite band because of "that one song with the piano in it", but when I went on to pitchfork today and saw the headline "Coldplay kicks out Chris Martin I admit I want to know how they expected to be a band with out their main song writer. In the past the band has written songs in the studio after hearing demos that Martin had recorded earlier, but this time Brian Eno might just have either cause the first Coldplay flop or a new way of producing either way Im going to buy the next album to how this turns out because the single they release won't do it for me. So what this crazy bald MOFO Eno is planning to do is have Martin still do those demos ,but heres the twist, only use the vocal tracks and have the band go into the live room and write around that. I think this idea is great and I really want to see how it turns out, but I have my doubts of course.
